Something To Focus On

Most of us have had our lives disrupted in multiple ways.  

When this happens, it can be difficult to continue with our healthy routines. This can be due to a change in environment (working from home) or the mental gymnastics we do when things are so uncertain.

There is one simple thing you can do to help your mind stay clear and your body stay healthier.

Drink enough water!

Whether you had a water bottle at work and had a plan for your day, or you have never even thought about what that might look like, this is the time to add this to your day!

Fact:Your body uses about 9 cups of water each day to transport oxygen, nutrients, and waste. IT also uses that water to keep your skin, mouth, and eyes moist.

Fact:Your body loses water through, breathing, sweating, and digestion.

Fact:Your body is over 60% water!

Fact:Water keeps digestion regular and regulates body temperature.

Laura, where do I begin? How do I get back on track?

*Get a minimum of .5oz. of water per pound of body weight each day.

*Set a timer to remind you to get up and drink water (see how I got you to move, too!)

*Fill a water bottle and give yourself a deadline for drinking all of the water.

*Refill that water bottle when it's gone, and drink it all, again!
